Insider Radar — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Insider Radar ("the extension") shows recent insider transactions (SEC Form 4 filings) for a stock you look up. This policy explains how it handles data.

Data we collect: none

Insider Radar does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party services, and we (the developer) never receive any of your data.

Network requests

To show filings, the extension fetches data directly from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's public EDGAR system at sec.gov. The only information sent in those requests is the stock ticker / company you look up (or that is auto-detected from the stock page you're viewing), as part of the standard public-filing URL. Requests go only to sec.gov — to no other server, and to nothing operated by us.

Local storage

To stay fast and reduce load on SEC servers, the extension caches the public ticker-to-company list and recent lookup results using Chrome's storage API. This cache lives on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Permissions

Not investment advice

Insider Radar presents public SEC data for informational purposes only. It is not investment advice and is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
